Hiking Trails of PEI Book

Description

The Nature Trail behind Hannah's Bottle Village was a pleasant surprise. We went to explore the bottle village and during our explorations we noticed a sign behind the bottle village pointing to a nature trail. At that point we had to go see where it went.

Marsh on the Nature Trail

The trail starts by going through an opening that has a small garden and strange old farm equipment along the edge. The trail then enters a stretch of trees and bushes. The mowed trail continues and comes out along a wheat field. The trail comes to the end of the field and provides views of the marsh. The trail then returns along the other edge of the field next to a strip of trees. The trail eventually takes you back to the Bottle Village.

Directions

From Charlottetown, cross the bridge and continue on Route 1 through Stratford. Continue southeast on Route 1 and just past Eldon turn right onto Point Prim Road towards the Point Prim Lighthouse. Drive for 8.5 kilometers and you will find the sign for Hannah's Bottle Village on the right. If you reach the lighthouse at the end of the road (another 2 kilometers) you have gone too far.
