Hiking Trails of PEI Book



At the main intersection in North Rustico by the Coop, the Irving Station and the Fisherman's Wharf restaurant turn onto Harbourview Drive towards North Rustico Harbour. Drive for 700 meters and turn right into the parking lot for the trail. The trail runs along the parking lot and continues in both directions along the shore.

You can access the other end of this trail from North Rustico Beach. To get to the beach turn onto Harbourview Drive and then soon after turn left onto Church Hill Avenue. Drive for 1.2 kilometres and you will come to the beach. Turn right onto Beach Lane. Drive for 800 meters and you will come to a parking lot for the beach. The trail travels along the far side of this parking lot.


The North Rustico Harbour Trail is a beautiful boardwalk that travels along the shores of North Rustico Harbour. With a wharf on either end you will see lots of boats showing how much this coastal town revolves around fishing. The views of the harbour are beautiful. A short trail takes you across the point to North Rustico Beach. North Rustico Beach is a beautiful sandy beach on the Atlantic ocean.
