Confederation Trail

Map

The Confederation Trail is 425 kilometres of old rail bed that has been converted into a beautiful, wide, crushed rock trail system. The trail travels from tip to tip and from shore to shore. The trail has many magnificent views of the rolling hills of the island. It also travels through most of the main villages and towns.

If you want to take a quick walk on a nice trail you are never far from a section of the trail. If you want to take a longer walk on the trail each of the towns and villages you pass through provide supplies, accomodations and friendly smile. The trail is very flat. The fine crushed rock surface makes it wheelchair accessable and it is perfect for walking or biking.
